libgringotts-dev software package provides development files for the gringotts data encapsulation library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgringotts-dev
libgringotts-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgringotts-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgringotts-dev *
You will get with libgringotts-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
